Hello my students. Nobody is messaging me or making comments or, even worse, sending pictures of cookies. Send me pictures of you holding your favorite cookies. OR ELSE!!!
What do you mean Or else, what? Or else I will . . . . . . Ok, you caught me. I won't do anything. I just miss you and I thought cookies might be a way to get you to message me. I've had 3 students call me. 3 Out of about 40 that I have called MULTIPLE times. I miss you. Want to know what I did today? I got up early and went for a bike ride. At least, that was my plan, but when I got to my bike, I saw that the zombies had left it out in the rain again. So I had to put the zombies in time out and dry off my bike. Then I went for a ride. At least, that was my plan, but right after I started riding, our neighbor's dog slipped its leash and started chasing the squirrels. Normally, I wouldn't have minded, but these were special squirrels. I don't know how they were special; they looked and acted normal, but with all the other weird things that happen around here, I figure they must be something out of the ordinary.

Good Morning Blog. Good morning students. I hope you are enjoying good Friday. Here's how my day went today.
First, I woke up. It wasn't the easiest thing to do today. I didn't eat breakfast because I was fasting. Fasting means to not eat or drink for 24 hours to prove to God that you are serious about a request, and people all over the whole world were fasting to stop Covid19. Right away, my wife, Ms. Blodgett, put a dry rub on some ribs and threw them in the oven to cook all day long. I couldn't wait to try them. I decided to make beans and potato salad to go with them. I love potato salad. But first, I had to do something about the T-Rex that followed me home from my walk the day before yesterday. It keeps trying to go in the doghouse when it rains and scaring our dog. It's sad when my dog gets scared. So I had to grab a big hunk of dead triceratops that we had lying around and lure the T-Rex out of our back yard -- again -- and this time make sure the kids shut the gate tight so it can't step over again. Sheesh. Kids these days. Wish I was at school. Had to get up early today to get work done.
Tried to fix a loose board on the side of the house, but it was too high up, so I borrowed the neighbor's ladder. The ladder turned out to be broken, and I still couldn't reach the board. Had a big omlette for breakfast with sausage, peppers, and everything. It was really good. Met with some other 4th grade teachers. Man, they miss the students. Took the baby for a walk around the block and tried to come up with silly rhymes from what we saw on the walk to keep myself from falling asleep. cat . . . fat tree . . . yippee squirrel . . . whirl dog . . . fog bee . . . free flower . . . power Tyronasaurus Rex . . . Baby woke me up before my alarm.
Monsters under the bed again. I gave them detention and threatened extra homework, so they went back under the bed. Got to sleep another few minutes before the alarm went off. Yay! Today, my son made eggs, which was nice, except he usually adds too much salt. Salsa covered it up, though. Did morning stretches and a few pushups. Not very many. Drank some water to wash down the eggs. Put clothes in the laundry. Went out to fill in the bottomless pit and saw a dragon climbing through. Annoying. It started spouting flame, so I chopped its head off. Luckily, it was a big dragon, so its body got stuck in the bottomless pit, so, problem solved. Went in and got another drink of water. Wish I was at school. To start the day, I woke up.
My wife made oatmeal with raisins in it, and I added brown sugar and milk to mine. I went outside and finished digging a stump out of the front yard using a shovel and an axe. And I discovered that the stump was covering a pit of alien death zombies that climbed out of the ground and attacked my family. After my kids and I killed the zombies, they went to get the free lunches while I took a shower. Alien death zombies, as I am sure you know, leave quite a stench. Then I spent most of the rest of the afternoon putting this website together. Tomorrow, I will need to go fill in the bottomless pit, or something. Wish I was at school. I am sure you are all wondering what it would be like to be a teacher right now, so I decided to post a few of my most boring daily activities just to give you an idea.
